The Northwest Pennsylvania Emergency Response Group (ERG) and its business partner, the North West PA Regional Business Coalition for Homeland Security, believe it is important that the region’s business community receive disaster related information whenever it can assist their planning, response or recovery from man-made or natural disasters.
BECON is a communications program created to address this communications need. Specific “business oriented communications” are developed by the ERG’s county emergency managers and delivered via email to a specific county, group of counties or region wide.
To participate, Northwest PA businesses simply have to provide company information; such as company name, email (s) for their designated contact (s) and county or counties of operation.
